Reflection
Moving away from home a thousand miles away at the age of 22 and not knowing anyone was exciting but a bit scary of the unknown. I still remember how sad but at the same time excited I was when I left for Spain. I knew I wanted it so much but moving to a very new environment for a long time was a bit scary then. A year and a half after, I can say that this experience has been amazing.
Not only was I able to travel and explore a lot of so many places but I was able to learn so much more about myself.
I found that I truly love being a teacher. I enjoy being around kids and teaching them. I honestly feel that being a language assistant or a teacher is very rewarding. Seeing kids improve day by day is very rewarding. I am absolutely happy that I took this opportunity and also I feel blessed to be in a good institution.
Living in Spain has its good times and also its bad times. The journey of course wasn't always bright but I'm glad that I was able to go through the challenges I have experienced and it just made me stronger and a better person. Being immerse to Spanish culture is an amazing thing. Not only was I able to appreciate the culture but I have also gained so much knowledge. I was able to also meet many people and have built great relationships. With this, I am very much grateful of this opportunity I took.
As my journey continues, I am more than excited of what's to come and of course to continue teaching.
